Welcome to 3rd Grade!

Hi! My name is Tiffany Meech. I have been teaching at Huron Academy since 2008, and this will be my third year teaching 3rd grade. I have worked with children in all grades, ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. I received a Bachelors Degree from Oakland University, and I am currently working on my Graduate degree in Reading at Saginaw Valley State University. I look forward to another successful year at Huron Academy! Smile

3rd Grade Yellow Pages

Please make sure that you have read the "Third Grade Yellow Pages" that was sent home at the beginning of the year. The "Yellow Pages" explain some of the policies and procedures in third grade. We put everything in ABC order for you to use it as a quick reference throughout the year when needed.

Responsibility is a huge goal that we will work on throughout the year. Please help your child work on this important character trait by reminding them to make sure that all their work is completed and turned in on time every day. All of their work will be written in their planners, which they should use to help them keep track of their work. Remember that 10% is taken off of each assignment that is tunred in late!

Our character trait at Huron Academy for the month of October is Honesty. We will be discussing honesty and why it is important. We will also be working on a fabulous hallway display that will show why we think honesty is such an important character trait. Please make sure to discuss honesty with your child at home.
